Alongside fixed-price sales, we run live auctions. It's a good way to land a work several people want — without frantically refreshing in the final second. Here's how it works.
Set your maximum. Instead of raising your bid over and over, you enter the highest amount you're willing to pay. The system bids for you only as much as needed to stay in front — and not a penny more, until someone outbids you.
Follow it live. The current price and time remaining update on their own, with no page reload. On your account you can see where you're leading and where you've been outbid.
No last-second sniping. If a bid arrives in the final moments, the auction time extends slightly. That way the highest offer wins — not the fastest click.
Winning and payment. When it ends, the highest bid wins, provided the reserve is met. Payment runs through Stripe — as safely as an ordinary purchase.
Bid wisely. Decide your maximum in advance and stick to it — an auction should be a pleasure, not a race. You'll find all live auctions under Auctions.
